We spoke with Elisabeth Bergoo, Public Relations Manager for Love to Dream’s exclusive distributor Regal Lager, about what to expect from this top-tier brand at this year’s Baby Show!
What should expectant and new parents know about your brand?
The Love To Dream key message is “Safer Sleep Made Simple.” Traditional swaddling is often difficult for new parents to master without the swaddle unraveling at night and baby “escaping”. The Love To Dream Swaddle UP swaddles has revolutionized swaddling so that everyone can swaddle correctly, every time, and baby will have a safer, more comfortable sleep. It is the only swaddle that allows baby to sleep in the natural position, with their arms UP, so they can gently rub their cheeks and suck on their fingers. This is what is called self-soothing.
There are three Stages: Stage 1 is the Swaddle UP Original, suitable from birth until baby shows signs of rolling over to the tummy. Babies naturally want to sleep with their arms UP, near their face. When they are able to self-soothe they sleep better and longer.
Stage 2 is the Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag with detachable “wings” that can be removed one at a time. It is a gentle transition, so baby gets access to his arms, as you detach one “wing” at a time. It is important to look for signs of baby getting ready to start to roll over to the tummy. Access to his arms is then important.
Stage 3 is for when baby is out of swaddles, and is ready to graduate into the practical and beautiful products from the Love To Dream™ Independent Sleep line, such as Sleep Bags and Sleep Suits.
What’s new (in the past year) with your brand?
Other than the Stage 1 and Stage 2 introducing even more attractive materials, colors and patterns, the Stage 3 introduces the Sleep Suit and the Sleep Bag for Independent Sleep for older babies and toddlers, no longer being swaddled. The Love To Dream™ Sleep Suit is adorable and is available in different TOGs, and comes in a choice of long or short sleeves.
We are excited to show the Love To Dream Hip Harness Swaddle. It comes in a soft, comfortable 1.0 TOG in sizes Small (7-13 lbs.) and Medium (13-18.5 lbs.) The Hip Harness Swaddle has been specially designed for babies being treated for Hip Dysplasia. It has been designed with an even wider fit at the bottom so that it can be worn over a Hip Dysplasia Harness or brace.
What is your most popular product or service right now?
The Love To Dream Swaddle UP, available in several TOGs, colors, and patterns. It is widely popular as it is so helpful to use already from day one, coming home from the maternity ward. But really all three Stages of the Safe Sleep System works so well for families with small children.
Why should Baby Show attendees stop by your booth at the Baby Show Series this year?
To see and feel the high quality of the Love To Dream swaddles, the functional designs, making life easier for parents of little ones. To see the hip healthy designs, allowing hips and legs to flex naturally; the genius two way zipper for easy diaper changes, not the least in the middle of the night. The double zipper is always an eye-opener for dads, often very involved in diaper changes after night feedings. We love to see how they get excited when seeing that you don’t have to take everything off, change the diaper and then put the swaddle on again. Babies stay nice and warm and does not wake up more than you want them to.
